Fireweed is a late summer bloom and the flower apparently loves the hills of our local ski resort, Grand Targhee. During the summer, locals here trade out their skis for mountain bikes and hiking boots and explore the same runs in a blanket of wildflowers, rather than a blanket of snow. Breathtaking.
